Limp home mode drive method and system for hybrid vehicle

A limp home mode drive system for a hybrid vehicle, comprising:

• a memory configured to store program instructions;
• and
• a processor configured to execute the program instructions, the program instructions when executed configured to:
• prohibit an operation of an overdrive brake that is included in a transmission for the hybrid vehicle and is driven by an electric oil pump when the hybrid vehicle is being driven and the electric oil pump is not operated;
• limit a speed of the hybrid vehicle based on a heat value of a rotation driver included in the transmission;
• limit a torque of a drive motor driving the transmission based on a temperature of the drive motor;
• and
• drive a mechanical oil pump included in the hybrid vehicle to enable limp home driving of the hybrid vehicle.
