Adaptive lighting system for an automobile vehicle

A method for scanning light radiation comprising the steps of:

• emitting light radiation (L) from at least one primary light source;
• receiving said light radiation (L) from said at least one primary light source into a scanning system that spatially distributes said light radiation onto a surface of a wavelength conversion device;
• receiving said light radiation (L) from said at least one primary light source into said wavelength conversion device and re-emitting white light radiation (B);
• and receiving said white light radiation (B) into an optical imaging system that re-emits said white light radiation by said wavelength conversion device and projects said white light radiation (B) in front of a vehicle to form a lighting beam, said wavelength conversion device being situated close to a focal plane of said optical imaging system;
• wherein an intensity of said white light radiation (B) emitted by said wavelength conversion device modulated between a minimum value and a maximum value and wherein the scanning is performed at variable speed;
• wherein said scanning system distributes said light radiation (L) at a variable speed that progressively decreases when scanning from at least one outer area of a surface of said wavelength conversion device toward a middle zone of said surface wavelength conversion device and progressively increases when scanning from said middle zone to a second outer area of said surface of said wavelength conversion device.
