Abstract
A method of reducing pathogen binding on skin is provided. The method includes cleaning skin with at least one of a cleanser and a sanitizer and applying a topical composition to the skin. The topical composition is comprised of one or more prebiotic and at least one carrier.
Claims31
A topical composition for reducing pathogen binding on a surface, said composition comprising:
- an active ingredient;
- and
- at least one carrier, wherein said active ingredient comprises one or more of a prebiotic material, a probiotic material, and a synbiotic material, wherein said topical composition reduces pathogen binding on a surface by a statistically significant amount.
A method of reducing pathogen binding on a surface, said method comprising the steps of:
- cleaning a surface with at least one of a cleanser and a sanitizer;
- and
- applying a topical composition to the surface, wherein said topical composition is comprised of an active ingredient and at least one carrier, said active ingredient comprising one or more of a prebiotic material, a probiotic material, and a synbiotic material, wherein the application of said topical composition reduces pathogen binding on a surface by a statistically significant amount.
