Abstract
An extending ornament apparatus may comprise a compressed gas cartridge and a valve having a release mechanism, the valve being connected to the compressed gas cartridge and configured to release compressed gas from the compressed gas cartridge upon activation of the release mechanism. The apparatus may further comprise an inflatable ornament, and the compressed gas cartridge may be configured to inflate the inflatable ornament upon the activation of the release mechanism. The inflatable ornament may be configured to be mounted on an object.

An extending ornament apparatus comprising:
- a compressed gas cartridge;
- a valve having a release mechanism, the valve being connected to the compressed gas cartridge and configured to release compressed gas from the compressed gas cartridge upon activation of the release mechanism;
- and
- an inflatable ornament,
- wherein the compressed gas cartridge is configured to inflate the inflatable ornament upon the activation of the release mechanism, and wherein the inflatable ornament is configured to be mounted on an object.
An extending ornament apparatus and hat assembly comprising:
- a hat;
- an extending and retracting ornament mounted upon the hat;
- and
- a mechanism for automatically extending the ornament upward via a manual activation device.
