A novel maize variety designated X05H226 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X05H226 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X05H226 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X05H226, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X05H226. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X05H226.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05H226, representative seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH1W4R, wherein representative seed of the varieties PH1V69 and PH1W4R have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-XXXX and PTA-XXXX, respectively.
A seed of hybrid maize variety X05H226 further comprising at least a first transgene.
A converted F1 hybrid maize variety X05H226 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the converted seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1V69 with a second plant of variety PH1W4R;
