Abstract

A first off-network wireless device discovers a second off-network wireless device employing a proximity services (ProSe) discovery procedure. The first off-network wireless device receives a broadcast announcement for an off-network session identifying one or more first required capabilities from the second off-network wireless device. The first off-network wireless device determines when the first off-network wireless device is compliant with the one or more first required capabilities. The first off-network wireless device joins the off-network session in response to the first off-network wireless device being compliant.
