Systems, methods, and devices for scanning broadcasts

A system for determining response activity corollary to a presentation of a media content obtained from a broadcast source, the system comprising;

• one or more computer readable storage devices configured to store a plurality of computer executable instructions comprising at least a stream scanner module;
• and
• one or more hardware computer processors in communication with the one or more computer readable storage devices and configured to execute the plurality of computer executable instructions in order to cause the system to:
• receive a media content communication from the broadcast source using the stream scanner module associated with a receiving device;
• obtain a third party unique identifier specific to an instance of the media content communication;
• retrieve at least one user identifier respondent to the presentation of the media content communication corollary to the third party unique event identifier, the at least one user identifier respondent to the presentation being unique to a user;
• and
• store aggregated data of response activity associated with the at least one user identifier respondent to the presentation of the media content communication corollary to the third party unique event identifier.

A method of reporting presentation activity corollary to an instance of media content associated with a broadcast stream associated with a broadcast source corollary to a third party unique event identifier specific to the instance of the media content, under control of a computing device configured with specific computer-executable instructions, the method comprising:

• configuring a stream scanner module to receive communications from the broadcast source;
• obtaining the third party unique event identifier specific to the instance of media content associated with the broadcast stream associated with the broadcast source;
• retrieving a plurality of user identifiers obtained corollary to a presentation of the broadcast stream corollary to the third party unique event identifier specific to the instance of the media content, each of the plurality of user identifiers being unique to a user;
• and
• presenting a report of presentation activity corollary to the media content associated with the broadcast stream using at least one user identifier and the third party unique event identifier specific to the instance of the media content.
