Abstract
A method of wear leveling for a storage device or a memory device includes: receiving an inputted memory address; randomizing the inputted memory address to be a randomized memory address; and periodically reassigning the randomized memory address to be a different memory address.

A method of wear leveling for a storage device or a memory device, the method comprising:
- receiving an inputted memory address;
- randomizing the inputted memory address to be a randomized memory address;
- and
- periodically reassigning the randomized memory address to be a different memory address.

- receiving a logical block address from a host;
- randomizing the logical block address to be a randomized memory address;
- and
- periodically reassigning the randomized memory address to provide a physical block address of one of the memory cells.
