Abstract
A display apparatus includes a light emitter including a plurality of LEDs connected in parallel, and a driving circuit configured to turn on the plurality of LEDs and then to adjust respective turn-off time periods of the plurality of LEDs to adjust brightness of the plurality of LEDs.

A display apparatus comprising:
- a light emitter comprising a plurality of light-emitting devices (LEDs) connected in parallel;
- and
- a driving circuit configured to turn on the plurality of LEDs and then adjust brightness of the plurality of LEDs by adjusting respective turn-off time periods of the plurality of LEDs.
A method of driving a display apparatus, the method comprising:
- turning on a plurality of light-emitting devices (LEDs) connected in parallel;
- and
- adjusting brightness of the plurality of LEDs by adjusting respective turn-off time periods of the plurality of LEDs.
