Method for providing animation effect and electronic device thereof

A method for operating in an electronic device, the method comprising:

• displaying a looper screen that comprises a plurality of loop items;
• selecting at least one loop item from among the plurality of loop items displayed on the looper screen;
• determining an animation corresponding to an attribute of the selected at least one loop item;
• and
• playing the animation corresponding to the attribute of the selected at least one loop item.

An electronic device comprising:

• a display configured to display a looper screen that comprises a plurality of loop items;
• a memory configured to store a plurality of animations available to be set to the loop items;
• and
• at least one processor configured to:
• select any one loop item from among the plurality of loop items displayed on the display,
• determine at least one animation corresponding to an attribute of the selected any one loop item, and
• set any one animation among the at least one animation, as an animation corresponding to the attribute of the loop item.
