Systems and methods for identifying electronic content using video graphs

An apparatus, comprising:

• a storage device that stores a set of instructions;
• and
• at least one processor coupled to the storage device and operative with the instructions to:
• identify video content accessed by a first user and a second user based on video consumption information for the first user and the second user;
• obtain video graph data for the identified video content;
• calculate a value indicative of an association between the video consumption of the first user and the second user;
• and
• generate updated video graph data based on the calculated value, the updated video graph data being indicative of a link between the first user and the second user.

A computer-implemented method comprising the following operations performed by at least one processor:

• identifying video content accessed by a first user and a second user based on video consumption information for the first user and the second user;
• obtaining video graph data for the identified video content;
• calculating a value indicative of an association between the video consumption of the first user and the second user;
• and
• generating updated video graph data based on the calculated value, the updated video graph data being indicative of a link between the first user and the second user.

A tangible, non-transitory computer-readable medium that stores a set of instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

• identifying video content accessed by a first user and a second user based on video consumption information for the first user and the second user;
• obtaining video graph data for the identified video content;
• calculating a value indicative of an association between the video consumption of the first user and the second user;
• and
• generating updated video graph data based on the calculated value, the updated video graph data being indicative of a link between the first user and the second user.
