A management device communicably connected to an information processing device, the management device comprising:

• an editing unit configured to acquire a setting information file set in another information processing device and edit a specific designatable item in the setting information file set by the other information processing device;
• a generation unit configured to generate an instruction describing an automatic setting procedure to be executed by the information processing device, from the setting information file edited by the editing unit;
• and
• a response unit configured to respond to an acquisition request received from the information processing device by transmitting a setting information file identified by the acquisition request, the acquisition request sent in response to execution of the instruction by the information processing device.

An information processing device communicably connected to a management device, the information processing device comprising:

• an execution unit configured to analyze an instruction acquired from the management device and execute an automatic installation processing described in the instruction;
• an acquisition unit configured to acquire from the management device a setting information file identified by the instruction analyzed by the execution unit;
• a detection unit configured to detect a specific item from the setting information file acquired by the acquisition unit;
• a setting unit configured to individually set device information managed by the information processing device corresponding to the specific item detected by the detection unit;
• and
• a notifying unit configured to notify the management device after the execution unit completes the automatic installation processing,
• wherein the execution unit uses the device information set by the setting unit to execute the automatic installation processing based on the setting information file.

A control method for a management device communicably connected to an information processing device, the method comprising:

• acquiring a setting information file set in another information processing device and editing a specific designatable item in the setting information file set by the other information processing device;
• generating an instruction describing an automatic setting procedure to be executed by the information processing device, from the setting information file edited by the editing;
• and
• responding to an acquisition request received from the information processing device with a setting information file identified in the acquisition request, the acquisition request sent in response to execution of the instruction by the information processing device.

A control method for an information processing device communicably connected to a management device, the method comprising:

• analyzing an instruction acquired from the management device and executing the automatic installation processing described in the instruction;
• acquiring from the management device a setting information file identified by the instruction analyzed by the executing;
• detecting a specific item from the setting information file acquired by the acquiring;
• individually setting device information managed by the information processing device corresponding to the specific item detected by the detecting;
• and
• notifying the management device after the execution unit completes the automatic installation processing,
• wherein the executing uses the device information set by the setting to execute the automatic installation processing based on the setting information file.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program causing a computer to function as:

• an editing unit configured to acquire a setting information file set in another information processing device and edit a specific designatable item in the setting information file set by the other information processing device;
• a generation unit configured to generate an instruction describing an automatic setting procedure to be executed by the information processing device, from the setting information file edited by the editing unit;
• and
• a response unit configured to respond to an acquisition request received from the information processing device by transmitting a setting informatHon file identified by the acquisition request, the acquisition request sent in response so execution of the instruction by the information processing device.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program causing a computer to function as:

• an execution unit configured to analyze an instruction acquired from the management device and execute an automatic installation processing described in the instruction;
• an acquisition unit configured to acquire from the management device a setting information file identified by the instruction analyzed by the execution unit;
• a detection unit configured to detect a specific item from the setting information file acquired by the acquisition unit;
• a setting unit configured to individually set device information managed by the information processing device corresponding to the specific item detected by the detection unit;
• and
• a notifying unit configured to notify the management device after the execution unit completes the automatic installation processing,
• wherein the execution unit uses the device information set by the setting unit to execute the automatic installation processing based on the setting information file.
