A memory system includes: one or more memory modules, each comprising a plurality of memory devices having corresponding write commit policies; and one or more memory controllers coupled to the one or more memory modules, the one or more memory controllers having a configurable write operation protocol to operate with the memory devices according to the corresponding write commit policies

A memory system comprising:
- one or more memory modules, each comprising a plurality of memory devices having corresponding write commit policies;
- and
- one or more memory controllers coupled to the one or more memory modules, the one or more memory controllers having a configurable write operation protocol to operate with the memory devices according to the corresponding write commit policies.
A method of controlling a memory system comprising one or more memory modules, each comprising a plurality of memory devices having corresponding write commit policies, the method comprising:
- identifying a write commit policy utilized by each of the memory devices;
- receiving a write command from a processor;
- identifying a first memory device from among the plurality of memory devices that corresponds to the write command;
- and
- executing the write command according to the write commit policy of the memory device.
A memory system comprising:
- one or more memory modules, each comprising a plurality of memory devices having corresponding write commit policies;
- and
- one or more memory controllers coupled to the one or more memory modules, wherein the one or more memory controllers are configured to:
- identify a write commit policy utilized by each of the memory devices;
- receive a write command from a processor;
- identify a first memory device from among the plurality of memory devices that corresponds to the write command;
- and
- execute the write command according to the write commit policy of the first memory device.
