Abstract
A bimetallic device, the difference in expansion coefficient of which is between 10 and 30 10−6 K−1, for providing a resonator with thermal compensation via the balance wheel.

A bimetallic device comprising at least one first silicon-based layer and at least one second metal-based layer, wherein said at least one first and at least one second layers are arranged to attach to each other so that the curvature of the bimetallic device varies according to the temperature.
