An air flow rate adjusting apparatus for an air flow meter that is configured to measure a flow rate of air and includes a sensor chip, which has a sensor device installed at a thin wall portion to measure the flow rate of the air,
- the air flow rate adjusting apparatus comprising a controller configured to adjust an output of the air flow meter based on data, which is required for the adjustment of the output of the air flow meter, after retrieving the data from a storage device of the air flow meter.
