Abstract
An apparatus and a method for operating a mobile station in a wireless communication system are provided. The method includes receiving first information transmitted on a secondary carrier from a base station, and transmitting second information for feedback related to the secondary carrier at a feedback region in a primary carrier based on the first information to the base station.

A method for operating a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a base station, information regarding a feedback region in a primary carrier;
- and
- transmitting, to the base station, feedback information related to a secondary carrier via the feedback region in the primary carrier.
An apparatus of a terminal in a wireless communication system, the apparatus comprising:
- a transceiver configured to:
- receive, from a base station, information regarding a feedback region in a primary carrier, and
- transmit, to the base station, feedback information related to a secondary carrier via the feedback region in the primary carrier.
An apparatus of a base station in a wireless communication system, the apparatus comprising:
- a transceiver configured to:
- transmit, to a terminal, information regarding a feedback region in a primary carrier, and
- receive, from the terminal, feedback information related to a secondary carrier via the feedback region in the primary carrier.
