Reading assistance system for visually impaired

A head-worn computer including a processor, comprising:

• a. a sensor system adapted to detect a user's gesture indicating that the user is looking at a document;
• b. a camera adapted to capture an image of the document in correspondence to the user's gesture;
• c. the processor further adapted to enhance a portion of the captured image;
• and
• d. an augmented reality display system, wherein the processor is further adapted to present the enhanced portion of the captured image as augmented reality content overlaid onto a non-enhanced view of a different portion of the document.
