Mechanical control arrangement for work vehicle

A work vehicle, comprising:

• an operator cabin;
• an actuated component located substantially beneath the operator cabin;
• an operator input device movably mounted within the operator cabin;
• a push-pull cable mechanically linking the operator input device to the actuated component such that movement of the operator input device actuates the actuated component;
• and
• a cable routing box defining a lower compartment located substantially beneath the seat mount surface, the push-pull cable extending from the operator input device, through the lower compartment, and to the actuated component.

A mechanical control system configured to be installed within a work vehicle including an adjustable seat and a cabin having an exterior, the adjustable seat supported by a seat mount surface of the operator cabin and movable relative thereto, the mechanical control system comprising:

• an operator input device configured to be mounted to the adjustable seat and to move therewith when the mechanical control system is installed within the work vehicle;
• a cable routing box configured to be mounted to the seat mount surface of the operator cabin and, when so mounted, defining a lower compartment located substantially beneath the seat mount surface;
• and
• a mechanical linkage extending from the operator input device, through the lower compartment, and to the exterior of the operator cabin when the mechanical control system is installed within the work vehicle.
