A cling foil comprising an outermost adhesive layer comprising a pressure sensitive adhesive, an outermost release layer, the outermost release layer comprising a release material, and a foil layer positioned between the outermost adhesive layer and the outermost release layer.

A cling foil comprising:
- an outermost adhesive layer comprising a pressure sensitive adhesive;
- an outermost release layer, the outermost release layer comprising a release material, wherein the release material is a coating comprising a base resin having a surface energy less than 35 dynes/cm and a release agent;
- and
- a foil layer positioned between the outermost adhesive layer and the outermost release layer.

A method of manufacturing a cling foil, the method comprising:
- providing a foil layer having a first side and a second side;
- forming an outermost adhesive layer comprising a pressure sensitive adhesive, directly or indirectly, onto the first side of the foil layer;
- and
- forming an outermost release layer comprising a release material, wherein the release material is a coating comprising a base resin having a surface energy less than 35 dynes/cm and a release agent, directly or indirectly, onto the second side of the foil layer;
- wherein the outermost adhesive layer, foil layer, and outermost release layer together form a cling foil.
