Abstract
A method for a household electrical appliance to perform mode switching includes detecting whether a user is in a sleeping state, switching a current operation mode to a silent mode if the user is in the sleeping state, and operating in the silent mode.

A method for a household electrical appliance to perform mode switching, comprising:
- detecting whether a user is in a sleeping state;
- switching, if the user is in the sleeping state, a current operation mode to a silent mode;
- and
- operating in the silent mode.
