Imaging apparatus, an electronic device, and imaging method to uniformize distribution of incident light, and a photostimulated luminescence detection scanner

An electronic device, comprising:

• an imaging element which comprises a plurality of pixels;
• a light uniformizing unit configured to:
• substantially uniformize distribution of a light for which a number of photons is to be detected;
• and
• supply the uniformized light to the imaging element;
• wherein the imaging element is configured to:
• determine a result of a digital determination on each of the plurality of pixels in respect to the number of photons of the supplied light;
• and
• output the determined result of the digital determination of each of the plurality of pixels;
• and
• a calculation unit configured to:
• sum the determined result of digital determination of each of the plurality of pixels by a frame as a unit;
• and
• calculate the number of photons of the light in an exposure period of the frame based on the sum.

A photostimulated luminescence detection scanner, comprising:

• a detection unit, wherein the detection unit comprises a plurality of imaging units, wherein each imaging unit of the plurality of imaging units comprises:
• an imaging element which comprises a plurality of pixels;
• and
• a light uniformizing unit configured to:
• substantially uniformize distribution of a light for which a number of photons is to be detected;
• and
• supply the uniformized light to the imaging element,
• wherein the imaging element is configured to:
• determine a result of a digital determination in respect to the number of photons of the uniformized light supplied to each of the plurality of pixels;
• and
• output the determined result of the digital determination of each of the plurality of pixels.

An imaging method, comprising:

• substantially uniformizing distribution of a light for which a number of photons is to be detected;
• supplying the uniformized light to an imaging element which comprises a plurality of pixels;
• determining a result of a digital determination on each of the plurality of pixels in respect to the number of photons of the uniformized light supplied to each of the plurality of pixels;
• calculating a sum of the determined result of the plurality of pixels by a frame as a unit;
• and
• calculating the number of photons of the light in an exposure period of the frame based on the sum.
