An information capture system, comprising:

• a plurality of mobile data processing apparatuses each configured for generating party-notified phone conversation recordings, generating each one of the party-notified phone conversation recordings includes determining recording consent notification requirements based upon a location of at least one party engaged in a respective one of the phone conversations and issuing recording consent notification in accordance with the consent notification requirements;
• and
• a recorded call information server coupled to each one of the mobile data processing apparatuses for monitoring call recording activity of each one of the mobile data processing apparatuses, monitoring the call recording activity includes receiving a location of a particular one of the mobile data processing apparatuses during an instance of a phone call.
