Abstract
A method for manufacturing a carrier and a carrier for an optoelectronic unit are disclosed. In various embodiments the carrier has a carrier material which includes polyethylene terephthalate which contains reflector particles and a filler.

A carrier for an optoelectronic unit comprising:
- a carrier material comprising polyethylene terephthalate that contains reflector particles and a filler, wherein the filler comprises glass fibers.
A carrier for an optoelectronic unit comprising:
- a carrier material comprising polyethylene terephthalate that contains reflector particles and a filler, wherein the carrier material comprises polybutylene terephthalate in a proportion of less than or equal to 60 wt. %.
