Abstract
Methods of inhibiting platelet aggregation using antibodies having binding specificity for the α subunit of the (Na++K+)-ATPase are provided, along with methods for inhibiting or preventing or treating thrombosis in a subject using such antibodies.

A method for inhibiting platelet activation and aggregation in a subject comprising administering an effective amount of an antibody having binding specificity for the α subunit of NKA to a subject in need thereof.
A method for inhibiting thrombosis in a subject comprising administering an effective amount of an antibody having binding specificity for the α subunit of NKA to a subject in need thereof.
