A beak trimming device comprising:
- a feeder chain comprising a plurality of links, wherein
- at least one of the links comprises an interior cavity constructed and arranged to hold a quantity of avian attractant;
- and further wherein
- at least one of the links comprises a first abrasive surface disposed on at least a portion of the at least one link, the first abrasive surface constructed and arranged to remove material incrementally from an avian beak that is moved across the first abrasive surface when accessing the avian attractant.
