Communication system, communication method, relay device, and computer program product

A communication method to be executed in a communication system in which a plurality of communication terminals including first communication terminals and second communication terminals are connected through a network, the method comprising:

• transmitting and receiving content data;
• executing, when first communication is established between communication terminals, control to transmit and receive content data to and from a first communication terminal and not to transmit content data to a second communication terminal but to receive content data from the second communication terminal, in a predetermined transmission band;
• and
• receiving selection of a second communication terminal with which second communication is to be established, from at least one second communication terminal with which the first communication is established, wherein
• when the second communication is established with the second communication terminal selection of which is received, performing, at the executing, control to transmit and receive the content data to and from the second communication terminal selection of which is received.

A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium containing an information processing program, the program causing a computer connected with a plurality of communication terminals including first communication terminals and second communication terminals through a network, to function as:

• a communicator that transmits and receives content data;
• an executor that controls, when first communication is established between communication terminals, the communicator to transmit and receive content data to and from a first communication terminal and not to transmit content data to a second communication terminal but to receive content data from the second communication terminal, in a predetermined transmission band;
• and
• a receiver that receives selection of a second communication terminal with which second communication is to be established, from at least one second communication terminal with which the first communication is established, wherein
• when the second communication is established with the second communication terminal selection of which is received, the executor controls the communicator to transmit and receive content data to and from the second communication terminal selection of which is received.

A relay device connected with a plurality of communication terminals including first communication terminals and second communication terminals through a network, the relay device comprising:

• a communicator that relays communication of content data between the plurality of communication terminals;
• and
• a transfer manager that, when first communication is established between communication terminals, allows communication of content data between first communication terminals, and does not allow transmission of content data from the first communication terminals to a second communication terminal but allows transmission of content data from the second communication terminal to the first communication terminals, wherein
• the transfer manager allows, when second communication is established between a first communication terminal and a second communication terminal selection of which is received by the first communication terminal, communication of content data between the first communication terminal and the second communication terminal selection of which is received.

A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium containing an information processing program, the program causing a computer connected with a plurality of communication terminals including first communication terminals and second communication terminals through a network, to function as:

• a communicator that relays communication of content data between the plurality of communication terminals;
• and
• a transfer manager that, when first communication is established between communication terminals, allows communication of content data between first communication terminals, and does not allow transmission of content data from the first communication terminals to a second communication terminal but allows transmission of content data from the second communication terminal to the first communication terminals, wherein
• the transfer manager allows, when second communication is established between a first communication terminal and a second communication terminal selection of which is received by the first communication terminal, communication of content data between the first communication terminal and the second communication terminal selection of which is received.
