Mobile terminal device

A mobile terminal device, comprising:

• a display module configured to turn on and display information;
• a touch detection module including a touch panel and being configured to detect a touch operation of a user with respect to the touch panel;
• and
• a processor configured to control the display module and the touch detection module,
• the processor being configured to turn off the turned-on display module when an object approaches the display module in a case where an application program accompanied by information display is executed,
• the processor being configured to disable the touch operation after turning off the display module in a case where the application program corresponds to a first application program,
• the processor being configured to enable the touch operation after turning off the display module in a case where the application program corresponds to a second application program.
