Managing Emergency Communication Session Termination

A wireless communication device, comprising:

• a processor configured with processor-executable instructions to perform operations comprising:
• receiving an instruction to terminate a communication session;
• determining whether a communication session is in progress that should not be terminated;
• and
• blocking the instruction to terminate the communication session in response to determining that the communication session should not be terminated.

A non-transitory processor-readable storage medium having stored thereon processor-executable software instructions configured to cause a processor to perform operations for managing termination of an active communication session in a wireless communication device, comprising:

• receiving an instruction to terminate a communication session;
• determining whether a communication session is in progress that should not be terminated;
• and
• blocking the instruction to terminate the communication session in response to determining that the communication session should not be terminated.

A wireless communication device, comprising:

• means for receiving an instruction to terminate a communication session;
• means for determining whether an emergency communication session is in progress that should not be terminated;
• and
• means for blocking the instruction to terminate the communication session in response to determining that an emergency communication session is in progress that should not be terminated.
