Abstract
In a method in a primary network node for providing a web-service to clients, performing the steps of verifying (S1) a TCP session with a client node and generating TLS keys for said session. Subsequently temporarily suspending (S2) the TCP session. Finally, controlling migrating (S3) said TCP session and the generated TLS keys for the client node to a secondary network node for resumption of the session with the client node.

A method in a primary network node for providing a web-service to clients, wherein said method comprises the steps of:
- verifying a Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session with a client node and generating Transport Layer Security (TLS) keys for said session;
- temporarily suspending said TCP session;
- controlling a migration of said TCP session and said generated TLS keys for said client node to a secondary network node for resumption of the session with the client node.
A primary network node configured to providing a web-service to a client node,
- wherein said network node is configured to set up and verify Transport Control Protocol, TCP/Transport Layer Security (TLS) sessions with a client node;
- wherein said network node is configured to temporarily suspend an ongoing and verified TCP session, and
- wherein said network node is configured to control a migration of said temporarily suspended TCP session to a secondary network node with initially agreed TLS session keys.
A primary network node, wherein the network node comprises a processor and a memory, said memory comprising instructions executable by the processor, whereby the processor is operative to set up and verify Transport Control Protocol (TCP)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) sessions with client nodes;
- wherein said processor is operative to temporarily suspend an ongoing and verified TCP session;
- and
- wherein said processor is operative to control a migration of said temporarily suspended TCP session to a secondary network node with initially agreed TLS session keys.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising, stored thereupon, a computer program comprising instructions for execution by at least one processor in a primary network node, wherein the instructions are arranged so that, when the instructions are executed by the processor(s), the instructions cause the processor(s) to:
- verify a Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session with a client node and generate Transport Layer Security (TLS) keys for said session;
- temporarily suspend said TCP session;
- control a migration of said TCP session and TLS keys for said client node to a secondary network node for resumption of the session with the client node
A method in a secondary network node for providing a web-service to client nodes, wherein said method comprises:
- receiving a migrated temporarily suspended Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session and generated Transport Layer Security (TLS) keys for a session with a client node from a verified primary network node;
- un-suspending said received migrated temporarily suspended TCP session;
- resuming said TCP session with said client node.
A secondary network node configured to provide a web-service to a client node, wherein said secondary network node is configured to receive a migrated temporarily suspended Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session from a primary network node, said TCP session being verified with a client node with initially agreed Transmission Layer Security (TLS) session keys;
- wherein said secondary network node is configured to un-suspend said received migrated temporarily suspended TCP session, and
- wherein said secondary network node is configured to resume said TCP session with said client node with initially agreed TLS session keys.
A secondary network node, wherein the secondary network node comprises a processor and a memory, said memory comprising instructions executable by the processor, whereby the processor is operative to un-suspend said received migrated temporarily suspended Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session and to resume said TCP session with said client node with initially agreed Transport Layer Security (TLS) session keys.
An non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising, stored thereupon, a computer program comprising instructions for execution by at least one process of a secondary network node, wherein the instructions are arranged so that when the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, the instructions cause the at least one processor to receive a migrated temporarily suspended Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session from a network node, said TCP session being verified with a client node with initially agreed Transport Layer Security (TLS) session keys, and to un-suspend said received migrated temporarily suspended TCP session, and to resume said TCP session with said client node with the initially agreed TLS session keys.
A method in a client node for receiving a web-service from a primary network node, said method comprising:
- verifying a primary network node to set up a Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session and generate Transport Layer Security (TLS) keys;
- receiving an indication of a session migration of said TCP session from said primary network node to a secondary network node;
- resuming a temporarily suspended TCP session with said secondary network node based on said received indication.
A client node configured to receive a web-service from a primary network node, wherein said client node is configured to verify Transport Control Protocol (TCP)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) sessions with said network node;
- wherein said client node is configured to receive an indication of a migrated temporarily suspended TCP session verified with TLS keys, and
- wherein said client node is configured to resume said temporarily suspended TCP session with a secondary network node based on said received indication.
A client node, wherein the client node comprises a processor and a memory, said memory comprising instructions executable by the processor, whereby the processor is operative to set up and verify Transport Control Protocol (TCP)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) sessions with a primary network node;
- wherein said processor is configured to resume a migrated temporarily suspended TCP session with a secondary network node with initially agreed TLS session keys.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising, stored thereupon, a computer program comprising instructions for execution by at least one processor in a client node, wherein the instructions are arranged so that when the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, the instructions causes the at least one processor to:
- verify a primary network node to set up a Transport Control Protocol (TCP) session and generate Transport Layer Security (TLS) keys;
- receive an indication of a session migration of a temporarily suspended said TCP session from said primary network node to a secondary network node;
- and
- resume said temporarily suspended TCP session with said secondary network node based on said received indication.
