Method For Providing A Connection Between At Least Two Cables And Device For Providing An Insulated Cable Connection

A device for providing an insulated cable connection of at least two electrical cables, comprising:

• a sensor, adapted to sense at least one of two proximal end positions of a cable connection, wherein the cable connection is achieved by welding, soldering and/or crimping uninsulated cable strands of at least one of the first and second electrical cables, so that the uninsulated cable strands are in contact and parallel with each other, such that the first and second cable electrical cables extend in opposite directions, and wherein the cable connection is aligned relative to the sensor, such that the two proximal end positions of the cable connection are in a predetermined position;
• a control device, that is connected to the sensor and adapted to receive a signal of the sensor and to provide an output signal, if the two proximal end positions of the cable connection are in the predetermined position;
• and
• an insulating device, that is adapted to insulate the cable connection with an insulating member, if the sensor senses at least one of the two proximal end positions of the cable connection.
