A framework for sharing protected content includes a safe service comprising an access service and a content service; and a safe access service application integrated with at least one social media service application, said safe access service application constructed and adapted to provide controlled access to protected content stored in the content service, said controlled access being via a user interface (UI) of the at least one social media service application.

A framework for sharing protected content, the framework comprising:
- (A) a safe service comprising an access service and a content service;
- and
- (B) a safe access service application integrated with at least one social media service application, said safe access service application constructed and adapted to provide controlled access to protected content stored in the content service, said controlled access being via a user interface (UI) of the at least one social media service application.
