Recording medium having stored therein data management program, data management device, and data management method

A data management device comprising:

• a processor that executes a process including:
• monitoring a relevance ratio between pieces of data based on a frequency of access to a pair for each of the pairs of the pieces of data consecutively accessed in response to a request for access to a storage device storing a plural pieces of data;
• determining whether the pair is a pair having a relevance ratio representing a specified tendency, on the basis of tendencies of the monitored relevance ratios of the pairs;
• and
• grouping the plural pieces of data according to a result of the determining and the relevance ratio, and specifying data to be arranged in each group.

A data management method performed by a computer, the data management method comprising:

• monitoring, by the computer, a relevance ratio between pieces of data based on a frequency of access to a pair for each of the pairs of the pieces of data consecutively accessed in response to a request for access to a storage device storing a plural pieces of data;
• determining, by the computer, whether the pair is a pair having a relevance ratio representing a specified tendency, on the basis of tendencies of the monitored relevance ratios of the pairs;
• and
• grouping, by the computer, the plural pieces of data according to a result of the determining and the relevance ratio, and specifying data to be arranged in each group.
