Anti-rotation device for hydraulic connectors

A hydraulic connector assembly, comprising:

• a male body threadably engaged with a female nut, said male body including a stop tab that extends radially outward therefrom, said female nut being concentric about a central axis and including a recess formed on an exterior surface thereof;
• an anti-rotation band engaged with and extending tangentially around said female nut to define a proximal edge of said anti-rotation band, said anti-rotation band including a protrusion having a base portion and a projecting portion, said base portion extending radially inward from an interior surface of said anti-rotation band and being disposed within said recess of said female nut, said projecting portion of said protrusion extending beyond said proximal edge of said anti-rotation band in a direction parallel to said central axis,
• wherein rotation of said female nut relative to said male body causes said anti-rotation band to rotate therewith and causes said projecting portion of said protrusion to engage with said stop tab of said male body, thereby preventing further rotation of said female nut.
