Abstract
A powered skateboard having a skateboard deck formed from a blank core. The skateboard deck has a top surface for supporting a rider of the powered skateboard and a bottom surface configured to facilitate engagement with one or more skateboard trucks. The skateboard deck can include a well in the top surface of the skateboard deck. The well can be adapted to store one of more components of the powered skateboard.
Claims20
A method of making a skateboard deck for a powered skateboard, comprising:
- shaping a skateboard deck from a blank core, the skateboard deck having a top surface for supporting a rider of the powered skateboard and a bottom surface configured to facilitate engagement with one or more skateboard trucks;
- and,
- forming a well in the top surface of the skateboard deck by removing material from the top surface of the skateboard deck, the well adapted to store one of more components of the powered skateboard.
A powered skateboard, comprising:
- a skateboard deck, the skateboard deck having a top surface for supporting a rider of the powered skateboard and a bottom surface configured to facilitate engagement with one or more skateboard trucks;
- and,
- a well formed in the top surface of the skateboard, the well adapted to store one of more components of the powered skateboard.
