Breathing protector

A breathing protector for a tracheostoma, the breathing protector comprising;

• a housing with a distal part, a proximal part, a first opening at a distal end of the distal part, and a second opening at a proximal end of the breathing protector;
• and
• a valve flap arranged at the first opening to engage with a valve seat circumferentially about the first opening, said valve flap and valve seat creating a main valve being in an open position during inhalation and in a closed position during normal vegetative exhalation through the breathing protector.

A breathing protector for a tracheostoma, the breathing protector comprising;

• a housing with a distal part, a proximal part, a first opening at a distal end of the distal part, and a second opening at a proximal end of the breathing protector;
• and
• a spring member spring configured to bias the distal part in relation to the proximal part, to create a relief valve, being in a closed position during normal vegetative exhalation and transiting into an open position when a pressure in the trachea and thus the breathing protector exceeds a threshold value corresponding to a discomforting high pressure in the trachea.
