Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel-cell electrode catalyst in which a catalyst metal is uniformly supported on a support. This object can be achieved by a fuel-cell electrode catalyst comprising a support having pores and a catalyst metal uniformly supported on the support, wherein at least 80% of the support has a primary particle size within ±75% of the mean primary particle size of the support.
Claims12
A fuel-cell electrode catalyst comprising a support having pores and a catalyst metal uniformly supported on the support, wherein at least 80% of the support has a primary particle size within ±75% of the mean primary particle size of the support.
A method for producing a fuel-cell electrode catalyst comprising an adsorption-support step in which a catalyst metal complex is adsorbed to and supported on a support having pores, wherein
- at least 80% of the support has a primary particle size within ±75% of the mean primary particle size of the support, and
- the catalyst metal complex has a mean particle size within ±75% of the mean pore size of the support.
