Rack having automatic recovery function and automatic recovery method for the same

An automatic recovery method for a rack, the rack comprising a control module and a node electrically connected with the control module, the control module comprising a rack management controller (RMC), the node comprising a baseboard management controller (BMC) communicating with the RMC through a default communication channel, and the automatic recovery method comprising:

• a) determining if failing to receive a RESPONSE signal from the BMC through the default communication channel at the RMC;
• b) if failing to receive the RESPONSE signal from the BMC through the default communication channel at the RMC, sending a control signal to the BMC through a general purpose I/O (GPIO) channel to force the BMC to reset, wherein the RMC and the BMC are electrically connected with each other through the GPIO channel.
