Hot swappable component quick release

A method of using a server device assembly, the method comprising:

• providing a housing having a slidable tray transitionable between an open configuration and a closed configuration and a plurality of tray bodies coupled to the slidable tray, each tray body configured to removably receive at least one storage module, the plurality of tray bodies are arranged in rows, one behind the other, thereby having an first tray body and second tray body, the second tray body is has a storing configuration to a loading configuration;
• inserting, when the slidable tray is in the loading configuration, at least one storage module into the first tray body in a sliding direction and inserting at least one storage module into the second tray body opposite to a detach direction;
• wherein in the loading configuration the second tray body translates relative to the tray and the first tray body, such that the front surface of the first tray body faces the sliding direction and the front surface of the second tray body faces the detach direction.
