A method performed by an electronic device, the method comprising:

• receiving a request command including a number of a time slots;
• generating a random number in response to the request command;
• determining if a time slot matches the random number;
• and
• controlling sending a response to the request command when the time slot matches the random number.

An integrated circuit (IC) chip configured for incorporation into a communication device, the IC chip comprising:

• circuitry configured to
• receive a request command including a number of a time slots;
• generate a random number in response to the request command;
• determine if a time slot matches the random number;
• and
• control sending a response to the request command when the time slot matches the random number.
