Abstract
A method for managing calendar entries in a document is provided. In one embodiment, a document comprising a calendar entry is accessed by an electronic device. The document is not a meeting invitation email. The calendar entry is then extracted from the document. Further, the calendar entry is included in a calendar of a user. An apparatus for substantially performing the method as described herein is also provided.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- accessing, by an electronic device, a document comprising a calendar entry, wherein the document is not a meeting invitation email;
- extracting the calendar entry from the document;
- and
- causing the calendar entry to be included in a calendar of a user.
An apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors coupled to the memory, the one or more processors, in conjunction with the memory, configured to perform:
- accessing a document comprising a calendar entry, wherein the document is not a meeting invitation email;
- extracting the calendar entry from the document;
- and
- causing the calendar entry to be included in a calendar of a user.
A non-transient computer readable medium for storing computer instructions that when executed by at least one processor causes the at least one processor to perform a method for managing calendar entries, the computer instructions comprising:
- accessing the document comprising a calendar entry, wherein the document is not a meeting invitation email;
- extracting the calendar entry from the document;
- and
- causing the calendar entry to be included in a calendar of a user.
