Abstract
A textile fabric has at least one fabric layer with warp and weft threads and at least one light emission layer abutting onto the first fabric layer in a flat manner and is connected to this and is formed for the conduction and the emission of light. This arrangement provides a textile fabric that provides ambient illumination.

A textile fabric, comprising:
- a first fabric layer having warp and weft threads;
- and
- a light emission layer abutting onto the first fabric layer in a flat manner, wherein the light emission layer is connected to the first fabric layer, and wherein the light emission layer is configured to conduct and emit light.
A motor vehicle, comprising:
- a vehicle interior;
- and
- a textile fabric arranged on the vehicle interior, the textile fabric comprising
- a first fabric layer having warp and weft threads;
- and
- a light emission layer abutting onto the first fabric layer in a flat manner, wherein the light emission layer is connected to the first fabric layer, and wherein the light emission layer is configured to conduct and emit light.
