Abstract
The present invention relates to the combination of the phytocannabinoid cannabidiol with therapeutic hypothermia for use in the treatment of neuroprotection or astroprotection.

The combination of the phytocannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) with therapeutic hypothermia for use in the treatment of neuroprotection or astroprotection.
The combination as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the neuroprotection or astroprotection to be treated is newborn hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (NHIE).
The combination as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the neuroprotection or astroprotection to be treated is a stroke.
The combination as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the neuroprotection or astroprotection to be treated is a cardiac arrest.
