Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of warmers, or autonomous heat packs, for heating and maintaining a solution on at a suitable temperature, for the period of time required to accomplish a chemical, biochemical or biological reaction, in particular in molecular biology or cell biology applications. Biology kits containing warmers are also part of this invention.
Claims15
A process for carrying out a biological, biochemical or chemical reaction requiring an incubation at a temperature between 30 and 40° C., the process comprising a step of activating a warmer, the operation of which is based on an exothermic physical or chemical process, and a step of bringing said warmer into contact with a container containing the reagents involved in said reaction.
A kit for biological application, characterized in that it comprises a warmer, the operation of which is based on an exothermic physical or chemical process.
