Abstract
A fuel cell having an air electrode provided on one surface of a solid oxide electrolyte layer; a fuel electrode on the other surface thereof; and a separator 11 on the air electrode. A middle layer is further provided between the separator and the air electrode in order to suppress the diffusion of constitutional elements of the air electrode to the separator.
Claims15
A fuel cell comprising:
- a power generating component comprising a solid oxide electrolyte layer, an air electrode disposed on a first surface of the solid oxide electrolyte layer and comprising a perovskite oxide, and a fuel electrode disposed on a second surface of the solid oxide electrolyte layer;
- a separator adjacent the air electrode and defining a flow path facing the air electrode, the separator having an interconnector disposed therein and connected to the air electrode;
- and
- a middle layer between the separator and the air electrode, the middle layer comprising a material that suppresses diffusion of constitutional elements of the air electrode to the separator body.
