Non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery

A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising:

• a positive electrode containing:
• a first positive electrode material that contains a lithium-containing transition metal oxide in the form of a Li2MnO3—LiMO2 solid solution (M represents at least one selected from Ni, Co, Fe, Al, Mg, Ti, Sn, Zr, Nb, Mo, W, and Bi), and
• a second positive electrode material that contains a lithium-containing transition metal oxide including at least Ni, the lithium-containing transition metal oxide having a Ni rate of 50 percent by mole or more with respect to the total moles of metal elements other than Li, and the lithium-containing transition metal oxide having a layered structure;
• and
• a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a fluorinated chain carboxylic acid ester represented by the following structural formula 1:
• (R represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and X's each independently represent F, H, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a group in which at least one hydrogen atom of the alkyl group is substituted by a fluorine atom).
