A topical skin composition comprising an effective amount of hydrolyzed algin, escin, Ruscus aculeatus root extract, ammonium glycyrrhizate, Centella asiatica extract, hydrolyzed yeast protein, and Calendula officinalis flower extract, wherein the composition is capable of reducing cytokine production and reducing oxidative damage in skin cells.
