Abstract
A method of recognizing a contactless fingerprint is provided. The method includes displaying a guide screen for recognizing the contactless fingerprint on a display, receiving an input image of a target object positioned according to the guide screen by using a camera, and determining whether the received input image is suitable for fingerprint recognition.

A method of recognizing a contactless fingerprint, the method comprising:
- displaying a guide screen for recognizing the contactless fingerprint on a display;
- receiving an input image of a target object positioned according to the guide screen by using a camera;
- and
- determining whether the received input image is suitable for fingerprint recognition.
An electronic device comprising:
- a display unit configured to display a guide screen for recognizing a contactless fingerprint on a display;
- an image input unit configured to receive an input image of a target object positioned according to the guide screen by using a camera;
- and
- a determination unit configured to determine whether the received input image is suitable for fingerprint recognition.
A non-transitory computer readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for executing a method of recognizing a contactless fingerprint, the method comprising:
- displaying a guide screen for recognizing the contactless fingerprint on a display;
- receiving an input image of a target object positioned according to the guide screen by using a camera;
- and
- determining whether the received input image is suitable for fingerprint recognition.
