Abstract
An electronic device process data including a compressed header is provided. The electronic device includes a controller configured to generate a data packet comprising a header compressed based on at least one data packet previously transmitted, and a transmitter configured to transmit the data packet.

An electronic device comprising:
- a controller configured to generate a data packet comprising a header compressed based on at least one data packet previously transmitted;
- and
- a transmitter configured to transmit the data packet.
An electronic device comprising:
- a receiver configured to receive a data packet comprising a compressed header;
- and
- a controller configured to process data of the data packet without restoring a complete header corresponding to the compressed header.
A method for operating an electronic device, comprising:
- generating a data packet comprising a header compressed based on at least one data packet previously transmitted;
- and
- transmitting the data packet.
A method for operating an electronic device, the method comprising:
- receiving a data packet comprising a compressed header;
- and
- processing data of the data packet without restoring a complete header corresponding to the compressed header.
