Frequency band adaptive wireless communication

A frequency band adaptive wireless communication system, comprising:

• a receiver configured to:
• receive an identification of available frequency bands for a radio communication link from a transmitter, wherein the transmitter identifies the available frequency bands from a plurality of frequency bands based at least in part on signal levels of the plurality of frequency bands;
• evaluate the available frequency bands based at least in part on one or more radio signal quality metrics associated with a link of each of the available frequency bands;
• select at least two frequency bands of the available frequency bands for the radio communication link based at least in part on the evaluation of the available frequency bands;
• and
• cause the radio communication link to be established using the at least two frequency bands.

A method, comprising:

• receiving an identification of available frequency bands for a radio communication link from a transmitter, wherein the transmitter identifies the available frequency bands from a plurality of frequency bands based at least in part on signal levels of the plurality of frequency bands;
• evaluating the available frequency bands based at least in part on one or more radio signal quality metrics associated with a link of each of the available frequency bands;
• selecting at least two frequency bands of the available frequency bands for the radio communication link based at least in part on the evaluation of the available frequency bands;
• and
• causing the radio communication link to be established using the at least two frequency bands.

A computer-readable, non-transitory storage medium having one or more computer-executable instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to:

• receive an identification of available frequency bands for a radio communication link from a transmitter, wherein the transmitter identifies the available frequency bands from a plurality of frequency bands based at least in part on signal levels of the plurality of frequency bands;
• evaluate the available frequency bands based at least in part on one or more radio signal quality metrics associated with a link of each of the available frequency bands;
• select at least two frequency bands of the available frequency bands for the radio communication link based at least in part on the evaluation of the available frequency bands;
• and
• cause the radio communication link to be established using the at least two frequency bands.
