Abstract
Caps for containers or for spouts in particular for containing liquids, such as fruit juice and other similar drinks, are provided having highly effective seals. Such caps include an annular wall having a lower free rim which has a waved pattern.

A cap for a container or spout comprising an annular wall having a lower free rim which comprises a waved pattern, wherein said cap provides a seal which prevents flow of liquid from the container or spout to the outside of the container or spout.
